I haven’t bought any new fabric this week, but I am making progress on using up some of my stash by continuing with my Roman Stripes UFO. Now completed: 16 blocks.
I decided to use the setting Mary Johnson chose for her design. It looks so clean and crisp and modern. My sister-in-law will like this!
Here is Nigel, also known as Bitey Boy. 😉 He’s a good dog, really. Even if he does like to come and sit on the blocks and disarrange them.
Happy Sewing!
It’s looking good! Chesty used to be the same way when I used the floor as a design wall. I would put up a dog gate when I had everything laid out to sew together so he didn’t scramble my blocks!
I find it so hard to resist those eyes staring up at me while I’m at the machine. And if Ruby’s really wanting some attention, she wads herself up under the machine with her head on my lap–no easy feat as I haven’t much lap or room under the cabinet!
Hi, just found your site, love your quilts, they are sooo beautiful!
I have a Biddy Boy too. He is a little Yorkie, he weighs 4.1 lbs and will be 4 years old on Christmas Eve. His name is Little Bit, but I call him Biddy Boy most of the time.
I can’t quilt, but admire the beautiful work people do. I do hand knitting and I am presently working on a baby afghan for a close friend of mine’s new baby girl. It is a light lavender and has Butterflies knitted into it. It is turning out really nice.
Keep up your beautiful work.
