Here is my progress after completing Hour 1 of Judy Laquidara’s latest Quilt for an Hour project, the instructions for which can be found on Judy’s blog, Patchwork Times.
I felt a lot better when I read Judy’s remarks that it might take some people longer than an hour to do each step. I was afraid I might be the only one who is slow at this! I only got started on this project today, and it took me about three hours. The cutting was the most time-consuming part. Sometimes I drive myself crazy with the “measure twice, cut once” business. And I was popping out after cutting each set to do a bit of housework, too.
The actual block construction went very quickly.
I’m looking forward to starting Hour 2 this evening after dinner.
Happy Sewing!
