I wanted something bright and cheerful to work on today, so I have cut these turquoise scraps into shapes to make blocks.
This is the Stashbuster pattern (note: link updated 30-8-11) from Buttonberry that I used to make my older daughter’s Christmas gift quilt last year — with one variation. My scraps were mostly smaller pieces, so this time I have cut the shapes half-size, so the blocks will finish at 8 inches square instead of 16 inches.

Happy Quilting!
Turquoise does just brighten up the day. Thanks for showing your scraps. Like those wonky squares on the quilt.
do you need some tops for charity? can you write me? I send you tops because I have sent 6 ( 3 in two parcels) to USA and I have …lost it.
England it’s easier to send….
Thanks Luisa
Thanks, arlijohn! I’m glad you like them.
Luisa, I am not in charge of any charity quilting groups, I just help out with various ones.
I will find some email addresses for you of the people in charge of some charities in England and send you the information. I’m sorry your quilts got lost in the post. That must be so heartbreaking for you.
We’ll find a good group for you closer to home. You are very kind and generous to want to help. 🙂
