I’ve got eight little Turquoise scraps blocks stitched together now.
They are just laid out here on my impromptu design wall. My sewing room is not “accessible” at the moment. 😉 Too messy!
I’m downsizing a larger pattern (Note: Link updated 30-8-11) and discovered that my maths are wrong, so the blocks are not square. But that’s not hard to fix — I will square them up to 8.5 inches before assembling the quilt top.
These are easy blocks to make. I’ve been sewing them in the kitchen while cooking and baking in preparation for Christmas festivities.

Happy Quilting!
I love your turquoise blocks! I am looking forward to seeing your completed quilt! Great fabric choices.
Your turquoise is such a happy color! Cute, cute, cute!
OH that is so nice, I love the colors and I love easy piecing.
Sewing while cooking and baking? You are my quilt heroine for the day.
Love the turquoise. So bright and cheery. Merry Christmas to all.
Thanks, KatieQ! I have to do something to fill those 12-minute gaps while the cookies are in the oven! LOL
Julie, Kare and Diane — thanks for your nice comments! This quilt is going to be a birthday present. If you all like it, then I know she will, too! 🙂
Merry Christmas!
Thank you, Miss Nancy! Merry Christmas to you, too! 🙂
That must be fun…to sew blocks while you’re working in the kitchen! Very pretty!
These are lovely. Gorgeous colours!
Thank you, Kathy and Ruth! Merry Christmas! 🙂
It’s nice to have something uncomplicated to work on when you’re multi tasking! Hope you’re having a wonderful holiday!
