It’s the end of the first week of the “Too Good to Cut” Challenge. How is everyone doing so far?
I’ve made a good start on my half-square triangles.
This may not be the fastest or most efficient way of making HSTs, but it’s very accurate, and I enjoy doing them this way. And I’m in no hurry. 😉 Here is a tutorial for this method.
I haven’t cut the Hoffman fabric yet, but I will! That’s the next step in the pattern after making the HSTs.
If you’d like to share your progress, please post your link in the comments section.
Happy Quilting!
Thank you Dianne! I am officially a blogger and have cut into my hoarded batiks. It only hurt a little. May I be added to your “Too Good to Cut” Challenge participants?
Hooray! And a lovely blog it is, too! I am so delighted to add you to the blog roll. 🙂
Rosewillow – this is my favourite way of making HSTs as well – for me it is really the only way as it is easy and accurate.
Whoops, forgot to mention that the website you listed is a great one too.
I haven’t done any cutting – still in the thinking phase and looking through books and magazines.
