I need to finish some projects so I can get positive numbers.   Maths with negative numbers really confuses my brain! 😉

This week I bought fabric.  I was planning to buy fabric on holiday in June, but the sweet little quilt shop in our holiday town had closed down.  And you know that quilting money was just burning a hole in my pocket!   😉

This is what I got by mail order…

…my very first Jelly Roll ever (I’ve already separated the strips into groups), and some red, white and purple solids to replace stash I’ve used, with a blue tone-on-tone print for borders.

Here are my totals:

  • Bought this week:  6.25
  • Bought year-to-date:  22.25 yards
  • Gift fabric received:  30 yards
  • Total fabric in:  52.25 yards
  • Used this week:  0 yards
  • Used year-to-date:  33.75 yards
  • Total (net):  -18.50

While I was playing with my new fabric yesterday, my dear husband went for a walk in the countryside near our house.  When he returned, he brought me a bouquet of wildflowers.  I think they are Red Clover.  They look so pretty, I put them in the sewing room for inspiration!

Happy Quilting!
